They're back.

Can we draw a line under this whole sordid fucking mess now please? What a complete and utter cock-up that was, as if the SFA weren't a big enough joke as it is. Anyway, I'm sick to the back teeth of talking about it and even more so from hearing about it, so let that be that.

Can I just ask though, first of all, what you guys think? From outside of Scotland and from the point-of-view of non Rangers supporters. I'm really curious to know what you made of the whole situation.

'to quote Churchill; he is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma'
- from The Scotsman about Kris Boyd.

So apparently he got banned from training and got completely bollocked at by Walter Smith because of his attitude problem, which more or less rules him out from the Celtic game. Now, don't get me wrong, I completely and utterly adore Kris and I think he's an excellent player when he wants to be but as much as his diva antics can be hella amusing I'm starting to think that maybe he needs to, y'know...grow the fuck up before he burns all of his bridges.

There's been rumours floating around for the past year or so that the only reason he's being kept out of the squad is because of a drug problem or other such shite (which every fucking tim I know has jumped on gleefully...the twats). But the fact of the matter is we have four excellent strikers, Miller's a speedy little fucker and can score a good goal, Novo's gonna be back soon and he can be a complete pain in the arse for the opposition and Lafferty's a great wee player as well (despite all the recent flak he's been getting), so Kris isn't going to be in every game, yes he's a complete goal machine but other aspects of his game just are not up to that same level, he's got an inconsistency about him which is why, sometimes, he does get left out. But instead of trying to improve upon them he takes a complete hissy fit strop about it. Not the right attitude. It shows a lack of respect for both Ally and Walter Smith in their team selections and of his teammates. It wouldn't be right if he wasn't dissapointed, of course, but he just needs to deal with it better.

Anyway, there's been a crap load of stuff in the press today about this being the end of the line for Boydy but I don't think it will be. It's hardly a secret that Watty doesn't take shit from anyone and it was getting to the stage that something was going to have to be said, no player is ever bigger than the team. He won't leave Rangers. At least, I really fucking hope not.

Bloody footballers.
